Cleanup and Mitigation Crew Was Excellent Apr 10, 2026

I called Southeast on recommendation from a friend after a house fire. Their cleanup and mitigation crew was excellent - Josh came out the same day of the fire to assess the damage and start working to clean things up. Throughout the whole cleanup process, Josh, Bruce, Kevin, and Micah were considerate, professional, and very thorough in their work. Communication was great, and everything was cleaned up better and faster than I expected!

I want to start by saying this: Southeast doesn’t just rebuild homes—they rebuild lives. Last year, I experienced something no one is ever prepared for. I stood in my bathrobe at 6:30 in the morning, watching a two-story fire consume my home—the biggest investment I’ve ever made, the place I worked my entire life for. Helpless doesn’t even begin to describe it. In a matter of moments, everything I had built was gone. And beyond the physical loss, there’s a kind of trauma that comes with being the first one there, watching it all happen in real time. I didn’t just lose my home—I lost a part of myself. I had no idea where to turn… and then Jimmy came into my life. You might see Jimmy as a project manager, but to me, he was a guardian angel. When I had no hope left, he gave it back to me. He promised he would help me rebuild—not just my house, but my life. And he meant it. For 11 months, to the exact day of the fire, Jimmy, along with Jonathan and Ian, stood by their word. They didn’t just restore my home—they built it back better than I ever imagined. Brick by brick, step by step, they brought everything back together while keeping me informed, supported, and reassured the entire way. There were days I truly didn’t think I was going to make it through this process. But Southeast carried me through those moments. They gave me hope when I needed it most. I can say with complete certainty—I could not have gone through this with any other contractor. No one could have matched the level of care, integrity, and dedication that Southeast brought to my situation. If anyone from leadership is reading this, please know: Jimmy is one of a kind. I’m sure he’s valued, but he deserves even more. He went above and beyond in ways that can’t be measured, and he sets the standard for what excellence should look like in this industry. Jimmy, thank you. You helped me rebuild more than a house—you helped me rebuild my life. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am. Angela and the J-Crew Mar 27, 2026

To Whom It May Concern: I recently had a small kitchen fire. It was the straw... that broke me! Being very thankful that no one was hurt, damage was limited. But... the straw was the heaviest, the strongest one from the field!! Though I wasn't full blown hysterical... I was a mess!!! My first contact from Southeast Restoration was a very nice lady named Angela. She was so, so sweet! But, as I said, I was a mess! I was crying, I was laughing and there I was again, crying! Angela was very professional and patient with me... I had never experienced anything like this before. My inside was screaming, where do I even begin? Well, Angela runs a tight ship and she wasn't going to let me get her and her crew derailed. They are also known as "Angela and the 'J-Crew'" which runs like a nicely oiled machine, yet it was the smoothest ride I've ever had! Talk about puurfect and I've lived to tell. Angela just wrapped her arms around me and let me cry and babble and carried me through the storm! Then when I met some members of the "J-Crew," here in my home, I was thinking strangers all over my home, making a bigger mess for me to clean up weeks from now! Ugh, absolutely nothing to look forward to! Well, I just have to give them a big old Gomer Pyle shout out... SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE.......................... The main "J-Crew" member at my home was Mr. Jesse. What a gentleman. He arrived on time. Just like Angela had explained to me. He would be wearing his Southeast uniform and introduce himself when he gets there! Mr. Jesse introduced himself upon arriving and jumped right in to explain again to me exactly everything he was going to do, approximately how long it would take, and what protection would be used to protect the parts of my home not damaged. Then he would move on to restoring the kitchen! He told me that there would be no evidence of a fire by damage or smell! Okay, I say to myself, we will see! Mr. Jesse worked as quiet as a mouse and, when finished, he had my kitchen back to pre-fire condition before I could say, WOW! No clean up for me at all inside or outside. Matter of fact, he took all of the trash with him when he left! Angela and the J-Crew could not have represented the Southeast Restoration Company any better than they actually did on my project! The communication with me was excellent and I was invited to call Angela anytime I needed to. My project was completed within 3 full weeks of their first phone call to me. I'm blessed to have been serviced by Angela and her crew! They were all strangers to me and now we are all friends! We had a fire in the wall. The interior did not have visible damage. These guys got right on drying the water from fire hoses and extracting the smoke and smell from the house. Several different guys have been out. All were very professional and simply nice guys who made us feel comfortable with them in our home. Highly recommend

With the help of our project manager, Matthew Holmes, we were able to maneuver our way through the task of restoring our home to its pre-disaster condition.
